Ricardo Caruso Lombardi acordó anoche los detalles para volver a ser el entrenador del plantel profesional de Tigre, con miras al próximo torneo Clausura.
"Arreglé por un año y nos presentamos el viernes (por mañana). Tuve que llamar a Meiszner (presidente de Quilmes) porque las negociaciones con ellos estaban avanzadas, pero le expliqué que Tigre es mi segunda casa, que dirigirlo en Primera ahora es un sueño", le dijo Lombardi al diario Olé.
El entrenador suplirá, de esta manera, a Diego Cagna, quien se alejó de la conducción del equipo, luego de tres temporadas, al finalizar en la última posición en el pasado campeonato Apertura.
Caruso Lombardi, cuyo anterior desempeño lo realizó en Racing, regresará a Tigre, entidad en la que estuvo como técnico entre las temporadas 2003 y 2006.
El técnico dirigió y consiguió el ascenso del equipo de Victoria a la Primera B Nacional en el 2004, luego de un recordado triunfo 2-0 sobre Platense en Vicente López (27 de noviembre), que representó la obtención del torneo de la Primera B Metropolitana.
